Three years ago I worked until 11 PM and still fell behind. Today I run more client accounts than ever and log off by 5. Here are the six exact workflows that got me there. Prompts included, no hype.

Three years ago, four client accounts buried me: laptop closed at 11 PM, inbox still full. Today I run eleven, for companies in the US and UK, from my desk here in Nigeria, and I log off by 5. Same person, same brain, one new tool: Claude. It didn’t replace me; it multiplied me. I still own the work and take the calls. But the output now looks like a team of three.
I’m one person. The work is for three.
Here’s exactly how: six workflows you can copy this week, prompts included.
1. The “Read This For Me” Workflow. My inbox is a pile of documents that all want an hour each: brand analytics reports, competitor teardowns, call transcripts from meetings I missed, marketplace policy updates that quietly change the rules. Now I keep a Claude Project for each client, drop the document in, and ask one specific thing: “Read this. Give me the three things that actually matter for my business. Flag anything that contradicts what we agreed on last month. List any deadlines or action items buried in the text.” I still read the document myself, because AI hallucinates and I’m not about to stake a client account on a summary. But now I read it with intent instead of fatigue. Two hours of grinding turns into twenty focused minutes.
2. The “Draft This So I Can Fight With It” Workflow. Most people type “Write me a product description,” take whatever comes back, and wonder why conversions stay flat. The problem isn’t Claude, it’s that they asked for an answer instead of options. I prompt it like I’m briefing a colleague I expect to push back: “Act as a senior copywriter who’s launched 50 products in this category. Give me three competing angles for this listing. For each, tell me who it’s for, what objection it kills, and why you’d bet on it. Be opinionated. Disagree with yourself.” What comes back isn’t finished work, it’s three drafts to argue with. Forty minutes of that back-and-forth beats staring at a blank page, because I’m editing instead of inventing.
3. The “Untangle This Mess” Workflow. Every operator knows the feeling: you’re staring at a spreadsheet, something is clearly off, but you’ve gone numb to it. I open the file in Excel, where Claude is built right in, and hand it the whole problem: “Here’s the dataset. Here’s what I’m trying to figure out. Here’s what I’ve already tried. Walk me through what you’d check next, and tell me what patterns I might be missing.” It just asks the questions I’m too tired to ask myself. That’s exactly how I caught a stockout before it happened, eleven days from going dark on the best-selling SKU at peak season. Caught it. Saved the account.
4. The “Translate This For The Client” Workflow. I speak Amazon. My clients speak revenue, margin, and runway. Early on, that language gap cost me: I’d send updates packed with acronyms and watch a founder’s eyes glaze over while the actual win got lost in jargon. Now I draft the update in my own operator shorthand, then hand it to Claude to translate: “Rewrite this for a CEO who doesn’t know Amazon. Keep every number. Remove every acronym. Lead with the dollar impact, not the tactic. Make it five sentences max.” What comes out is the version of me my clients actually want to hear from: same substance, none of the noise.
5. The “Build Me A System” Workflow. Claude isn’t just good at one-off tasks, it’s good at turning a task you just did into a process you’ll never have to figure out from scratch again. Any time I do something twice, I stop and capture it: “I just did X. Here are the steps I took. Build me an SOP I can use every time this comes up. Include the prompts, the checks, the common mistakes, and what good looks like.” I now have more than fifteen of these: keyword research, listing audits, PPC restructures, weekly reporting, client onboarding. Each took an afternoon to build once, and now runs in half the time at double the consistency.
6. The “Reverse Brief” Workflow. Clients rarely hand you a clean brief. What I actually get is a rambling five-minute voice note or a messy Zoom transcript where the real requirements are buried somewhere between tangents. Now the raw mess goes straight to Claude: “This is what the client said. Turn it into a scope document with clear deliverables, an assumed timeline, and three clarifying questions I should send back before I start work.” I review it, tighten it, and send the clarifying questions before a single hour of real work begins. The client thinks I have a PM on my side. I have Claude, twenty minutes, and the discipline to actually use it.
The pattern holds across nearly every knowledge field:
And here’s the part that still surprises people: where you sit no longer decides whether you compete. I’m doing this from Lagos for clients who never ask where my desk is, because the work speaks before my location does. The talent was always here. The tools just made it impossible to ignore.
“The work speaks first. Talented professionals across Africa are delivering for companies worldwide, from their own cities.”
Before you get too excited, the honest part: Claude is a multiplier, and you can’t multiply zero. I pay for Claude Pro, and nobody pays me to say that. Free is a sharp intern who shows up three hours a day; Pro unlocks Projects, memory, big uploads, and long sessions. If you’re making money with it, it’s the cost of a decent dinner a month. But three things it will not do:
So if you’re thinking “I’ll spin up Claude and start an agency tomorrow,” don’t. Build the skill first, then add the tool. A beginner with Claude just produces more polished beginner work.
You can keep being the bottleneck, or stop being a team of one pretending to be three, and actually become one. I picked the second option. The numbers say it was the right call. I still do the work, I still own every outcome, and the calls are still mine. Claude just made sure that on the days the work is meant for three people, one of us can do it well, and do it like it matters.
